Hi everyone! It's good to see you all again.. well if you remember me that is... :P It's been a while since I found time to do reviews after all.

Anyway, you've probably figured out by now that this post is not a review (sadly). Instead, I've got some news to share with everyone today.

1) I'm taking over the maintenance of this community from dekishimeta who has left the fandom. Thank you for all your hardwork maintaining the community thus far! All the best in your future endeavors, and maybe someday you'll rediscover the five dorky old men and come back again... :)

2) I'll do my best to liven up this community. But really there's only so much I can do alone. That means we need YOU. Yes all you people looking over your shoulders and wondering who I'm referring to... there's no one else but you! Be it writing more reviews or just leaving a comment or to... or spreading the word about the community... every little bit of participation counts!

3) I'll like to give the community a little refresh... I'm working on updating the masterpost (then again, there's only so much creativity you can do with a masterpost). Perhaps a new banner? Or how about a banner competition? For that we need PARTICIPANTS though! So do let me know if you are interested.

4) Suggestions are welcomed! Any activities we can possibly hold... how about weekly discussion threads? Again, they would fall flat if no one participates :( We need your participation to make this community successful.

Honestly, even when I haven't review often in this comm, I really like it and have recommended it to ppl who asked about the tv shows ♥ So it's good to see that it's not closing.

I miss the fandom being on LJ tbh I myself am on tumblr all day but even starting conversations there is difficult cuz of tumblr format. I'll try to participate whenever I can from now on! And I'll also help promoting the comm on tumblr :D

Yes agreed, I have no idea how to even chat with other people on tumblr. Same for twitter... tweets just come and go so fast, I miss most of the tweets... how can I hold a decent conversation with anyone there even?

I'm sad too, by how everyone seems to be leaving LJ... I wonder if there's anything we can possibly do to reverse the trend :(

Yes! plus on tumblr you end up spamming ppl and on twitter there is the word limit! it's impossible x-x

Idk... I think is a combination of many factors (lack of raws, subs, translations, posts in general on arashi_on) that made people turn to other more active sites (in my case, I like making gifs so tumblr was it for me u.u).

All I can think of is just keep on encouraging conversation by promoting the comm =/ How about creating a tumblr to do just that? Linking to the posts so it can reach more people? I can help with that.

Yeah I think the series of rule breakers kill the lj community... :(

Do you have a tumblr? If you do, you can create a sideblog for the comm. I took the liberty to create a gifset (http://hp-amnos.tumblr.com/private/128577705013/tumblr_nubmlk1AVb1qbsxvx). You can use it if you want ^^ Oh I wasn't sure if it's arashi-bangumi or arashi_bangumi? Cuz both work on LJ. Just tell me which and I'll fix it~

I'm wondering if a secondary blog or primary blog is better, what do you think? I actually make it a secondary blog first... then changed my mind and made a new account (primary) one for it lol.

The good thing is that with a secondary acct I can add more people to help me manage it...

I think it's arashi_bangumi (looking at the banner). In the url it becomes arashi-bangumi though.

I was thinking a secondary so you don't have to log in and out from your account xD And yes, it's more convenient if you want to add members.

Well... that wouldn't be a problem when I get my new computer because I would just use different browsers... :P Oh wells... I won't work on the tumblr till I get my new comp, for now I'll spruce up the LJ XD Thanks again!
