Hi everyone! It's good to see you all again.. well if you remember me that is... :P It's been a while since I found time to do reviews after all.

Anyway, you've probably figured out by now that this post is not a review (sadly). Instead, I've got some news to share with everyone today.

1) I'm taking over the maintenance of this community from dekishimeta who has left the fandom. Thank you for all your hardwork maintaining the community thus far! All the best in your future endeavors, and maybe someday you'll rediscover the five dorky old men and come back again... :)

2) I'll do my best to liven up this community. But really there's only so much I can do alone. That means we need YOU. Yes all you people looking over your shoulders and wondering who I'm referring to... there's no one else but you! Be it writing more reviews or just leaving a comment or to... or spreading the word about the community... every little bit of participation counts!

3) I'll like to give the community a little refresh... I'm working on updating the masterpost (then again, there's only so much creativity you can do with a masterpost). Perhaps a new banner? Or how about a banner competition? For that we need PARTICIPANTS though! So do let me know if you are interested.

4) Suggestions are welcomed! Any activities we can possibly hold... how about weekly discussion threads? Again, they would fall flat if no one participates :( We need your participation to make this community successful.

Thanks to dekishimeta for having maintained this community until now. Yay, coolohoh for taking over and that this community won't die! That it just exists with a few posts every so often even if there's no weekly update makes me happy enough. Too many closed and indefinitely inactive Arashi communities makes me sad. Hail nidaime!

I wonder, do you know about this other community called ara-discussions on lj? Wait, there's a reason I brought it up randomly, lol. I joined it and I was so psyched to be participating in discussions, but I don't know, somehow or other I can't bring myself to write down anything. It's a bit...underwhelming how little participation there is in fandom nowadays (and I'm a part of the not-participating bit). Yet, hypocritically I believe ara-discussions and this community, arashi-bangumi should still be kept running just for the mere fact that I believe in what these communities are supposed to do. I know besides lj I'm a part of other forums on other sites and even there discussions are so hard to cultivate. I don't know. Keep trying and one day lurkers like me might come out of the shadows every now and then to throw out a thought.

A new banner would be nice.

A new banner will be nice :3 I will consider participating to make a new banner if my mood strike. Well, I don't have that much creativity that's why xD

Also regarding discussion. Actually kanu_x has mention it before but there's other community focusing on weekly discussion post. It's ara-discussions@LJ; I sometimes participate in that community if I like the theme. Since weekly discussion has it's own place. I think it's better to use this community as other means but I can't come up with anything :/ Sorry!

Honestly, even when I haven't review often in this comm, I really like it and have recommended it to ppl who asked about the tv shows ♥ So it's good to see that it's not closing.

I miss the fandom being on LJ tbh I myself am on tumblr all day but even starting conversations there is difficult cuz of tumblr format. I'll try to participate whenever I can from now on! And I'll also help promoting the comm on tumblr :D
